Beewizer privacy notice

Beewizer Ltd. ("Beewizer", "us", "our", or "we") recognizes and respects the importance of maintaining the privacy of our users and, as a result, we have established this Privacy Notice. If not otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms have the meaning given to them in the Beewizer Terms of Service ("Terms") available at terms. This Privacy Notice explains the types of information we collect from you when you visit the Site and/or use the Services and how we may use, transfer, store, and disclose the information collected, as well as your ability to control certain uses of the collected information.

 

Information We Collect

 

We collect information from you when you choose to use our Site and/or Services. In order to use our Services, you will be required to register and provide us with certain Personal Data (as defined below). We also collect Personal Data when you make use of the Site and/or Services, request information from us, sign up for our email lists, complete online forms and/or any documents provided by us, or contact us for any other reason. If you enter through a third party log-in (such as Freshbooks, Quickbooks, Third Party Account, etc.), we collect your basic profile information from such third-party log-in service.

        

"Personal Data" means any information that refers, is related to, or is associated with an identified or identifiable individual or as otherwise may be defined by applicable law.

 

Examples of the Personal Data that we collect from you when you register and use the Services include: (i) information you provide us, such as your name, address, phone number, email address, and financial data; (ii) if you contact us, or respond to messages and communications that we send to you, we may keep a record of that correspondence; (iii) any information we receive when you visit our website; (iv) information we receive when you subscribe to our newsletter.

 

We also collect any materials, such as customer’s invoices and contact details to the Site and/or Services. 

 

In addition, when you use the Site and/or Services, certain information may be automatically gathered such as information about your computer, operating system, browsing history on the Site, IP address and (geo) location.

 

We collect information you provide us and/or give us access to (including through and from a Third Party Account integration with our Services) about your Users and/or Customers, such as name, including the name of the relevant business, contact person, email address, invoices, payment history and any relevant correspondence (including SMS and e-mail) between Users and Customer and/or data provided by the User including relating to their Customers, relevant to the Services.

 

It is your voluntary decision whether to provide us with certain Personal Data, but if you refuse to provide such information we may not be able to register you to the Site and/or provide you with the Services.

 

How We Use Your Personal Data

 

General

We and any of our trusted third-party subcontractors and service providers may use the information we collect from and about you and/or your Users and/or Customers for any of the following purposes: (1) to provide you with the Services, including by contacting your Users and/or Customers; (2) to respond to your inquiries or requests, contact and communicate with you; (3) develop new products or services and conduct analyses to improve  current content, products, and Services; (4) contact you with informational newsletters and promotional materials relating to our Site and Services; (5) review the usage and operations of our Site and Services; (6) use your data in an aggregated, non-specific format for analytical purposes (as detailed below); and (7) prevent fraud, protect the security of our Site and Services, and address any problems with the Site and/or Services.

        

Statistical Information

By analyzing all information we receive, including all information concerning Users and Customers, we may compile statistical information across a variety of platforms and users ("Statistical Information"). Statistical Information helps us understand trends and customer needs so that new products and services can be considered and so that existing products and services can be tailored to customer desires. We may share such Statistical Information with our partners, without restriction, on commercial terms that we can determine in our sole discretion.

 

Analytics 

We may use analytics tools ("Tools") including "Google Analytics" to collect information about the use of the Site and/or Services. Such tools collect information such as how often users (including Users) visit the Site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Site. The Tools may collect certain Personal Data and may link such Personal Data to specific information stored in our database. We may also provide non-Personal Data that we receive to the Tools. We use the information we get from the Tools to improve our Site and Services. Google's ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use located at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html and the Google Privacy Policy located at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

 

Disclosure of Personal Data

 

You acknowledge that we may share your information, including Personal Data, as follows:

 

Business Partners, Service Providers, Affiliates, and Subcontractors

We may disclose information, including Personal Data we collect from and/or about you, to our trusted service providers, business partners, Third Parties and subcontractors, who may use such information to help us provide you with the Services and aid in their understanding of how users are using our Site and Services.

 

We may use subcontractors and service providers who are located in countries other than your own, and send them information we receive (including Personal Data) and you hereby consent to such international transfer.

 

Intuit Inc., similar services providers and business partners and/or their subsidiaries and affiliates 

You agree that our service provider and business partner Intuit, MYOB, Xero, and/or any other Third Party and a third party subcontractor acting on the Third Party Account's behalf may: (i) during the term of the Terms, use your Personal Data internally to provide and improve the its product and services; (ii) provide email communication to you; (iii) offer its services after any termination or expiration of the Terms, subject to any opt-out elections by you, and all Applicable Laws; and (iv) subject to applicable law, use and disclose Personal Data in a manner that does not reveal any “nonpublic personal information” (as such term is defined under subtitle A of Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, 15 USC 6801 et seq and its implementing regulations).

 

Business Transfers

We may transfer our databases containing your Personal Data if we sell our business or part of it.

 

Law Enforcement Related Disclosure

We will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity, behavior or digital content of any user suspected to have engaged in illegal or infringing behavior. We may also share your Personal Data with third parties if we believe in good faith that disclosure is appropriate to protect our rights, property or safety (including the enforcement of the Terms and Privacy Notice), or to protect the rights, property or safety of third parties. We may also share information in order to comply with legal and/or regulatory obligations, to protect and defend our rights and property with or without your permission.

 

How We Protect Your Information

 

We make efforts to follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Data submitted to and collected by us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We do not knowingly collect personally-identifiable information from or market our Site and/or Services to children under the age of thirteen (13).
